The whole process of selling our home and relocating was going too smoothly. Everything seemed to be falling into place just a little too perfectly. And for awhile I was really beginning to believe that it could all work and be so relatively painless.
And then the appraisal came in $13,000 less than the contract sale price.
I'm still reeling.
I'm not sure where we go from here.
UPDATE: After a couple weeks in limbo and some renegotiating we are moving forward with the sale and these buyers. We close in a couple weeks. I'm ready to be done.
