E-mail

The other day Marty and I had this email exchange (I start by forwarding an invitation to him):

Peanut: Is this something you'd have any interest in? Just wondering.
XOXO
Wife
Marty: Hell Wife,
Yes, that sounds fun to me. I love you too!
Husband
Peanut: Read your email again, and tell me if you see anything funny in it? I'm still laughing! :)
Marty: o
Peanut: :) The "o" was just running late I guess. Got caught up in a meeting.

LOL! I'm laughing so hard! Before I read the "O" part I was trying to figure out if there was a devilish meaning to XOXO...besides the traditional meaning. That is so funny! I'm glad the o finally made it out of the meeting!

Here's another funny part. It actually took me a minute to get Marty's "o" email. I was on the verge of emailing him back: "o"? and then I was like, ooooooohhhh!

maybe he meant hell of a wife...

You guys are funny. Plus I like that Marty calls you "wife" (or "hell wife" as the case may be). When I got married, I intended to call my husband "husband," but I got stuck on "sweetie" and "Coach" instead.

I thought we were the only ones who often called one another "Husband" and "Wife," but I see it is sweeping the nation! That's another reason I thought this post was so cute!
